I — Yagami Ryouka — am an unrecoverable introvert. It’s been a year since I started high school and I don’t have a single friend. The complete opposite of a “shining schoolgirl” life.
My daily life flipped when I happened to save the shining classmates Tsurugi Reona and Tsurugi Riona from a random stabbing on the way home. This is a morning in that life.
”…Hey, what are you doing this early?”
“Just savoring Ryouka-chan.”
“Without my daily Ryouka, the day cannot begin.”
I’d woken up under pressure to find Reona and Riona — already in my room as if they always were — hugging me from both sides. Their figures were fully developed, and the chest-contact was immediate. If I weren’t a girl, Reona-and-Riona’s fanbase would have killed me.
“Wait — those pajamas, I think they’re…”
“Oh, I borrowed a pair from your closet, Ryouka-chan.”
“Sizing is a bit small.”
“Are you picking a fight with me?”
Unlike Reona and Riona, I’m short and my chest size is defeated by my middle-school sister Mio. A declaration of war.
“If we win the fight, can we do whatever we want with Ryouka-chan?”
“Riona and I will accept any fight on those terms.”
“There is no version of this fight where I win.”
The size differential alone is disqualifying. And Reona has the track record of stealing my first kiss — leaving me at their mercy would open new genre doors I cannot recover from.
The probability of remaining single forever would spike. Not that getting a boyfriend was on the realistic chart. Please don’t comment on that.
While managing the affectionate-aggression from Reona and Riona, I got dressed and we had Mio’s breakfast.
“Right, Ryouka-chan doesn’t cook?”
“Yeah, that’s all Mio’s department.”
Mom and Dad both work, so we split chores by sister — Mio handles cooking. If I’d been an only child I would be doomed.
“In that case, future Ryouka-chan handles the non-cooking.”
“Cooking goes to Nee-chan, and you and I handle everything else.”
“Why is the framing already we live together in the future?”
“Don’t worry, Riona and I will absolutely make Ryouka-chan happy.”
Reona answered my push-back, off-axis as ever, and her face was a bit too serious. Concerning.
“Done eating — let’s go.”
“Aren’t you forgetting something?”
“The day cannot start without this.”
“What am I forgetting?”
I started to worry I’d actually missed something.
“You haven’t done the I’m-off-to-school kiss.”
“That’s not happening — and we’re all going to school together, so I’m off doesn’t even apply.”
“Don’t worry about details.”
“It’s fine, Ryouka-chan will be satisfied — leave it to us.”
Their hungry-predator expressions were on display. My day, like so many, had started.

Volume 2 drops tomorrow — commemorative SS!
The plan was for this worldline where Ryouya is Ryouka SS to be a volume-2 purchase bonus, but since the Ryouka concept doesn’t appear until you’ve read volume 2, I figured this would be more accessible as a public release.
Volume 2 has substantial expansions and additions to the web version, with roughly half of the content newly written. Web-version readers should enjoy it too.
Volume 3 lives or dies by the first-week sales of volume 2 — if you see it in stores, please pick it up.
