“In a light novel they’d probably burst into the bathroom next — but no, no way.”
I mean, even by rom-com standards, that would be too much. As I was thinking that, soaking in the tub, I heard a sound from the changing room.
”…No. No, they just came to get something.”
I was urgently searching for plausible explanations when the door slammed open and Reona and Riona avalanched into the bathroom. For a moment, my brain failed to assemble the input — and then it caught up.
“Oh — okay. What is this exactly?”
“We were genuinely sorry about earlier, so we figured we’d come scrub your back as an apology.”
“Leave it to us.”
So apparently they did feel a little guilty about ransacking my room. The problem was: neither of them was wearing a towel, neither had on a swimsuit.
Which meant they were in their birthday suits. Everything visible. Needless to say, I had never before seen any woman other than my mother naked in person.
Various parts of my body were about to mobilize, so I began counting prime numbers in my head to calm down. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17… wait, is 19 prime?
Trying to weather it via prime numbers when I’m terrible at math was reckless, but it kind of worked, so mission accomplished I guess.
“This is not okay.”
“Oh? What’s ‘not okay’?”
“Riona and I need you to be specific so we can understand.”
I was full-on panicking. Reona was smirking and Riona, while still expressionless, was very clearly enjoying herself. Both of them knew exactly what they were doing and were asking on purpose.
A hundred percent they were entertained by my reactions. Logging the unexpected discovery that Reona and Riona were more sadistic than expected, I did not surrender.
“Please just get out.”
“Aww, why not?”
“Ryouya, do you not want this?”
It was way too intense for a virgin to handle, so I was trying everything to evict them. They were settling in.
“Then I’ll get out of the bath. You two can use it instead.”
If they wouldn’t leave, I would. I stood up in the tub and reached for the door — but of course they weren’t going to just let me walk out.
“Wait, Ryouya-kun—”
“Sorry. This way is blocked.”
“Wh—!?”
Reona grabbed my arm, I lost my footing on the wet floor, and the three of us went down in a heap. I had instinctively shut my eyes on the way down; when I opened them, there was a pink-and-skin-tone landscape directly in front of my face.
Reona’s chest and my face had ended up in approximately the same coordinates. There was also something soft in my right hand — looking down, I had Riona’s chest in a complete grip.
“Ryouya. Bold.”
“Wanna climb the adult ladder together? The three of us, right now?”
“I-I’m good, thanks.”
I extricated myself and basically fled the bathroom. There was no version of me that could look those two in the eye for a long time after this.
”…What facial expression am I supposed to be making when I see them again?”
I had buried my face in one of their chests and grabbed the other’s. Anyone with a normal nervous system would need at least a few hours before they could speak coherently. But Reona and Riona walked back into my room as if absolutely nothing had happened.
“You know how it is — sleepovers mean talking about crushes. Three-way crush talk, let’s do it.”
“I want to hear Ryouya’s stories.”
”…Uh, hey, do either of you remember what happened in the bathroom?”
“You mean you burying your face in my chest and grabbing Riona’s chest? Of course.”
For a half-second I’d entertained the hope that the shock had triggered convenient amnesia, but no.
“You remember and yet you’re completely fine?”
“Hmm? Was there an element of that that should’ve been distressing?”
“I don’t think so personally.”
Yeah, asking was the mistake. Reona and Riona might just operate on a frequency the rest of humanity does not share.
“So — crush talk. What’re we doing?”
“Since we’re doing it, I want to do it.”
”…There is literally nothing I have to contribute to crush talk, you guys.”
“You’re a virgin who’s never had a girlfriend, Ryouya-kun, but you’ve had a first love, right?”
“Casual brutality there. I might not be a virgin, you know.”
The “virgin” diagnosis stung enough to provoke me into running my mouth. The instant I said it, both their faces went flat.
“Hey. Exactly who was Ryouya-kun’s first?”
“I’d like specifics.”
The two of them advanced on me with empty eyes, and I genuinely feared for my life. I was starting to believe that if I said the wrong thing here, I would die. Pressure-wise this was worse than the random stabbing.
“V-virgin! I am a virgin.”
“Is there even one drop of dishonesty in that statement?”
“If Ryouya were lying — I don’t know what me or Nee-chan would do.”
“I swear to God I’m a virgin.”
Trying to save face had backfired into me confessing my virginity twice in two minutes in front of two girls. I was done. No more posturing.

I’ve been heavily revising and adding to the old version, so I currently have material stocked up to roughly chapter 22. My goal is to push that to 100k characters (around chapter 50) by mid next month.
